ADMISSION PROCESS
As the official partner in Italy of Pleven Medical University, we have the exceptional opportunity to organize the entrance test for Medicine in Italy and Online. In order to be admitted to this University, candidates are required to take an admission test. The exam consists of a written multiple-choice test in English (80 questions) on the subjects of biology (40 questions) and chemistry (40 questions). Through our preparation course, we will enable you to quickly acquire the necessary training to pass this entrance test.
The Pleven Medical University is one of the four public medical universities in Bulgaria, and was founded in 1974 on the basis of the former regional hospital founded in 1865.
The Pleven Medical University combines a large modern preclinical base, a hospital with specialized clinics and research sections. It has two faculties, the Faculty of Medicine which covers the subjects of medicine and rehabilitation and occupational therapy, and the Faculty of Public Health which covers healthcare.
In 1997 the university added a medical program in English designed for international students. This was the first medical program in English in Bulgaria. Since the 2000s, Pleven Medical University has had 4081 Bulgarian students and 582 foreigners from 45 countries and has about 750 new students each year, of whom 66% are Bulgarians and the rest foreigners, 50% of whom come from Italy.
