Degree Course in Physiotherapy
The Degree Course in Physiotherapy aims to train professionals in the healthcare field who, independently or in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, carry out prevention, care, and rehabilitation interventions in the areas of motor skills, with various etiologies, whether congenital or acquired.
Graduates in physiotherapy, with reference to the diagnosis and prescriptions of the physician, within the scope of their competencies, also as part of a multidisciplinary team, develop the definition of the rehabilitation program aimed at identifying and overcoming the health needs of the disabled; they independently carry out therapeutic activities for the functional re-education of motor, psychomotor, and cognitive disabilities using physical, manual, massage, and occupational therapies; they propose the adoption of prostheses and aids, train patients in their use, and verify their effectiveness; they check the correspondence of the rehabilitation methodology implemented with the objectives of functional recovery; they carry out study, teaching, and professional consulting activities in healthcare services and in those where their professional skills are required.
To access the degree course, it is necessary to have a secondary school diploma or another foreign qualification declared equivalent and a certificate of psycho-physical fitness.

The uniformity and standardization of higher education study paths at the European level allow students to choose any country belonging to the European Union to pursue their university career.
In addition, the European directives 2005/36 and 2006/100 transposed by Legislative Decree 206/07 allow for legal equivalence for the purposes of using the degree in Italy.
At the end of the training program, graduates in Physiotherapy will have acquired a broad and extensive range of knowledge both in basic sciences and in core subjects, as well as in the field of communication and professional management.
The degree allows access to Master's Degree Courses in the Class of Rehabilitation Sciences of Health Professions LM/SNT2,
without educational debts (Art. 6, paragraph 1 of Ministerial Decree January 8, 2009), to first level Master's degrees and to Advanced Courses.
